Surf Lessons

Samara is the perfect beach to learn how to surf and really get comfortable on the Surfboard. Pura Samara offers Surf Lessons for all levels, Beginner to Advanced!

Every Surf Lesson lasts 1.5 hours and includes use of the surfboard and surf shirt, a certified surf instructor, fruit and water.

Every Surf Lesson can be done in groups. The price for group Lessons with 2-4 People is $50 per person. For bigger groups, please inquire and we will be happy to offer you a special price.

*After every Surf Lesson, you can use the board for 1-3 days for free, to practice what you've learned. The availability depends on the day, please check with your Surf Instructor, at what time you want to use the Surfboard.

Kayak Tours

About 30 mins by Kayak from Samara is the beautiful Island Chora. The island is a nature reserve and home to lots of animals on land and in sea. You can either do the Tour by yourself or in a group*. The Tour includes the Kayak, life vests, snorkeling equipment, fruit and cold water. If the tide is low for sunrise/sunset, it is possible to watch it from the Kayak and include it in the Tour. The Tour is only possible during low tide. Please fill out the form below and we can happily schedule your adventure on the "Isla Chora"!

*Kids (ages 3-18) must have a guardian Parent in order to do the Tour.

Pura Samara has an in- and outdoor shower and a toilet for free usage for all of our clients.

Beginner

The first time on the Surfboard? You'll learn the basics on land and in water. The Instructor will help you to feel comfortable and safe. You will be able stand up and ride some small waves.

Price: $70/Lesson

Intermediate

You already know the technique but must practice more. You still need the guidance of the teacher who helps you to stand up. The waves are still fairly small.

Price: $70/Lesson

Advanced

You can stand on your board by yourself and you are ready for the bigger waves. The Surf Instructor will have his own board and will mostly guide you verbally.

Highly experienced

If you are already a highly experienced surfer, you can have your lesson on a nearby beach like Buena Vista or Camaronal. The Surf Instructor will have his own Surfboard and will only give instructions verbally.

Kids Classes

The kids classes teach the kids from ages 3 and older how to surf in a fun way. Our Surf Instructor has experience with kids. First they get the introduction on land and then they will surf the small waves. Intermediate or advanced kids are also welcome!

Kayak Tour

The Tour lasts about 3 hours. You can either book a private Tour or with your family or friends as a group.

Price: $70/private Tour

$60/per person in a group of 2-4 people

$50/per person in a group of 5 and more people

*Every Package must be fully paid after the first surf lesson. The dates and times will be discussed directly with the surf instructor!

The availability for the Surf Lessons as well as the Kayak Tours depend on the high and low tides. It is hard to predict, how the waves will be far in advance.
